I think yo must have firstly tried the Google search for this one "HP Backup and Recovery Manager" I think you must Download from there & can understand how to use it... Hope this is what you were asking for...!

I think you might be having it in the Laptop itself... There is a separate partition made for this recovery software.... & also other software might be there in it... I think you must get it from there...! If you don't find there then make the Norton Ghost CD for recovery... As this utility is the perfect for the recovery option & it also saves a lot of time of yours...! I think you will like this solution & it will definitely help you in future... !
