Create Recovery disk on XP machine?

MY XP MCE laptop froze today. I rebooted, then tried F8,last system that
worked,withno results, then inserted Dell CD, and tried to repair System
stopped
with error message "GetRequestedRuntimeVersion could not be located in
mscoree.dll". I am in an endless loop. HOw can I create a recovery disk on a
basic XP machine to boot the laptop, and do a system restore or a reinstall
of MCE?

If your system is booting from the Dell disk and still an not do a restore,
you may have a bad recovery disc (or possible some other hardware problem).
You should contact Dell support, about getting a new copy of the recovery
disc.
