idea Resetting Everything in Linux Ubuntu.

I bought a used computer yesterday and booted it up and found out it had Linux Ubuntu. I wouldn't mind having it but I need to get into the system and change what I need to. What do I need to do? I need the easyiest fastest way possible. It says that it is an office computer so hope that doesn't make it harder.

Incase of the open source operating system- Linux Ubuntu everything is in a file and that also includes the settings. Thus it makes it easy to get the desktop back to the default settings. The Gnome’s customizations settings are always stored in their respective folders which can be found in the Home Folder. Thus you can discard the unwanted folders to get the default settings back.
