Will upgrading Verizon fios works with wireless g router

I have used a upgrading Verizon fios and now I faced issued onto this when I try to connect it with the wireless G router. This is ridiculous for doing such type of connection. This Verizon fios is an UltraLine Series 3 Model 9100EM. The wireless g router range is poor at the time of connection. If this Verizon fios is more than 10 ft with wireless g router then its connection is broken. Is there any solution available to solve such kind of problem? Thanks in advance.
