Intel DG45FC - no beeps and display

I worry a resolution chart with my Ubuntu 9.10 + Intel ® DG45FC which graphics chip is an Intel ® GMA X4500HD .I am stuck at 1024x768 resolution with my 17 "display. so I filled in the section " Screen " Modes " 1280x1024 " " 1024x768 " "800x600 " " 640x480 ". But I'm still stuck with this resolution of 1024x768. If anyone knows how to solve this issues , thank you.

You need the Video Memory required to retain the images processed by the graphics processor before displaying . The greater the amount of video memory , the greater the graphics card can handle textures in the display of 3D scenes . At reboot, when displaying the desktop and everything , the screen goes into " No Signal "... If I unplug and replug after 5s , I see my desktop displayed for 1s with the mouse I can move and everything then " No Signal " . In VGA mode, it works very well, without failure mode as well, so that when I install a driver whatever the version, I have no display . I tested the CG in a mate , it works very well ... The DVI > VGA also walk impeccable . So I do not know where it comes ...I flashed the bios, did a Clear CMOS ,and the problem solved.
