Visual screen display issues with windows 7

HI. This is a issue with the visual screen display unit that is my monitor. Whenever I turn off my monitor and turn it on again the screen resizes the window of the application. It happens when the monitor is turned off and turned on again. Just do not know what could be the reason. Sometimes I do feel that the problem is associated with the operating system. Please help me out so that I can make the things proper. Thank you.

The problem that your monitors screen resizes the window application when been restarted or by turning it on is a clear problem to the Bios. You need to install or upgrade your bios. Flash your Bios and then install it with the latest update available for your motherboard utility. This would help you in making the hardware issue to be sorted and also troubleshoot the problems associated with the board.

This issue can be depended on the display card drivers of the monitor installed in the motherboard of your system. The display card driver may be malfunctioning due to which the monitor is not properly responding to the output what you want to see. Turning off the monitor and then turning it on again leads to problem as the power unit may not be suitable or supplied properly to the card. This may have damaged it. Change and check with other display card. This might help.

The operating system Windows 7 has inbuilt drivers for the display card of the system. The problem could be that the drivers for the monitor's display card driver may be corrupt or may not be functioning to the card. Uninstall the drivers for the card and let the operating system use the inbuilt drivers for the display card. If this does not work then install the fresh new drivers from the utility disc of the Motherboard.
