Dim and turn off the display does not work in windows 7.

hello guys, Here i have got some interesting problem when i set the following things. I set the display to become dim after 1 minute by using dim the display (1 min); and it should be turned off after 3 min by using Turn off the display (3 min). But neither display got dim after the mentioned time nor it got turned off. I just want to know where can be problem which is stopping let this happen.

As it is very much easy to handle this type of functions of windows. You are using the perfect codes to implement it in a exact way as you want to. There could be some problem with the Operating system. Sometime it does not work in way in which you want. You better install your operating system again. Hope, You your problem would be sorted out after reinstalling the os.

Do not be worrying as it will be a problem of your display driver. It might happen that your driver would not be supporting the such kind of programs. And you must be having a driver that supports your computers configuration. Without having the proper driver i suggest you not to waste your time behind searching a solution for this.

there might be the problem with your monitor itself. Because there are some company's monitor who does not support windows 7. Or there could be a problem while installing the driver. Now i do not know what will be the problem in your case from the above two. Anyway i have some driver's name that you can try for. May be GeForce 8600M GT will solve your problem.
