Hard disk with broken power supply

    Hi guys,
I have a hard disk element of western digital, all of a sudden the power supply and hard drive has stopped working and I am meeting with about 500GB of data lost.
The attack supply Hard disk access is special and is not selling (an attack has a connector with a 5-pin).
I tried to send an email to the western to see if they send me a new one but I see it hard ...
We come to this: if I open it and then destroy the packaging of hard disk, alternatively I find a normal hard disk that can then connect to PC or internally Combinly even worse trouble?

99.99% are within a normal HD that you can internally connect to any PC with the same interface (SATA or ide).

assuming that you find in a normal hard disk (I do not know what interface ide or sata) to avoid shaking you buy an external usb box and you're done
