Problem: detection of a 2nd HD

I just formatted my computer (it was under vista and I reinstalled vista), but I have a small problem: my computer has two internal hard drives but I found one (the first, the one installed OS).
I would like to know why this is happening and how to solve this problem.
    Thank you in advance!

Your HDs are connected to the motherboard IDE, SATA or SCSI?

Test to right click on the computer and select manage (I do not know if his condition under its Vista). Then see if your HD ghost is present in this window.

    Greetings,
To follow up on Aikonik's post, yes it is the same in Vista. On the right side double click on disk management. If your drive exists right click on it choose : Change Drive Letters and Paths... click on change then drop the arrow down choose a drive letter that is closest to the c drive. Then click on ok in the two windows that are open. Check Computer see if it is listed then.

Is your comp running on a raid configuration?
If yes your comp will have only one drive showing up..
You will have to navigate to the Raid Bios to check the presence of 2nd HDD
