When my monitor is set to go to sleep after 10 minutes it doesnt come back by moving mouse or pressing keyboard I have tried every thing i can do but my monitor dont wake up even the mouse dont wake up monitor pressing keys anything ,, in the end i have to restart it . what could be the problem can any one tell me . I am on vista
I think the first thing comes is to update you mouse/Keyboard driver , video card drivers check the video setting by Double left click on Power Management/Options and set everything to "Never" under the Power Schemes Tab. Clear the CMOS and Check the voltages or amps on your power supply.
Found this solution in Microsoft support :
1. Click Start , type device in the Start Search box, and then click Device Manager in the Programs list.
2. In the User Account Control dialog box, click Continue.
3. In Device Manager, expand Mice and other pointing devices.
4. Right-click the USB mouse, and then click Properties.
5. Click the Power Management tab.
6. Click to clear the Allow this device to wake the computer check box, and then click OK.
