    STOP: c000021a error after Kodak EasyShare installation

    I have a Dimension 4550 running with Windows XP Service Pack 2. Everything was working great until I installed Kodak EasyShare 6.0. After installing the same it asked me to restart the system and since then I am getting blue screen on every reboot with the following error message:

    “STOP: c000021a {Fatal System Error}
    The Windows Logon Process system process terminated unexpectedly with a status of 0xc000012f (0x00000000 0x00000000). The system has been shut down.”

    I have already tried booting the system in Safe Mod as well as with Last known Good configuration but none of them helped. Actually I am not able to boot there also. Every time it restarts with BSOD. Any help will be appreciated.

    Hi CooRa, there is nothing to worry about. It is well known error and there are several solutions available for the same. I'll suggest you to go through the following discussions, describing the same error with solution:
    STOP: c000021a {Fatal System Error}
    STOP: c000021a {Fatal System Error}
    STOP: 0xC000021A Fatal System Error

    Hope it helps.

    Re: c000021a error after Kodak EasyShare installation/virus removal

    Thank youi very much for the help Destiny. I will check all these links. But can you tell me what could be the reason? I mean, if it is caused after installing Kodak then it will be good if i could uninstalling it anyhow rather than re-installing entire windows. Isn't there anyway we can do it by using installation disk?
