Bluetooth file transfer not working win 7 basic

Hi to all

New member, not really a tech guy...but need some basic help here.

Trying to send a file from my sony viao to Nokia E7...screen just hangs
at the 'File transfer window', also cannot send from E7 to PC.

Nokia E7 is running 'anna', laptop is running 'windows 7 BASIC'.

Pairing was successful, drivers all downloaded ok, file sizes are typically less than 5mb....any one come across this ?

I have tried...
deleting then re-installing device (E7)
Turned Windows firewall off and on....still no luck.
Pairing and send/receive OK from other phones.
I have asked Nokia to look at phone...all seems ok

What i have learned is that if you have a 64 bits Win7 you will not have all the services and bluetooth drivers available for the single reason that nokia was not capable of developing them. Win 7 64 in almost all the case will not recognize your N8 or E7. Using Ovi is not a solution, since we need others services, like hands free etc, that we can use with N8 in Win7.
