Unable to install GFX driver in Linux mint

The card is just a 3D controller and display controller means that everything cannot be used with Linux. It has no choice but to use Intel graphics (which works well, uninstalling the nvidia driver), unless you can disable the BIOS hybrid graphics (often called Windows XP mode).

If I copied the right link it should. I have a nvidia 210/240/551 and all work, so do not see why the 218 will not work correctly. Just remember to use Clonezilla and can play forever. When your nvidia is a "3D controller" cannot be used with Linux. The drivers (both Nouveau and the official driver) will not work with him. The X server does not hold up 3D "controller" of cards.
