No audio after create a DVD with win DVD maker

There is no sound in a DVD which I created by using windows DVD maker, the problem is encountered with me first time, and not able to figure out the problem, whenever I open that DVD contents there is no sound from that DVD, what to do now? Is there any other alternative for the windows DVD maker? I am a school student and after complete the 10th std exam I bought a Dell latitude laptop, this is running with windows vista 32 bit OS. What should be the software as termed as the alternative of win DVD maker? Any information will be appreciated greatly.

As per my opinion, the audio might be occurring or the audio output device driver of your system, for that I would like to recommend you to check the default audio output device of your system from sound tab under control panel. If this is selected properly then I recommend you to try once to overcome from this issue by reload the audio driver, download the latest one which should be compatible with the operating system version along with the hardware specification. Run the installation program and follow the onscreen instructions.
