Windows 7 media player crashes on startup by Sky player

I have recently switched to Windows 7. All the things are running well except Skyplayer. I have installed the Skyplayer in it and whenever I start the Skyplayer then it crashes the media player at its startup and after that it works fine. If I watch the freeview with media player and TV then it just works fine. Can you guess that what can be the problem? Thank you.

To solve the problems like this you can initiate Windows Vista or Windows 7 with a minimum set of drivers starting programs. This is called as a "clean boot." If you do a clean boot then it will help you to eliminate software divergence. You can visit this link and this explains all the things about this. When you execute a clean boot then you might momentarily drop a few functionality. When you boot the computer as normal then all the functionality will returns. though, you might get the original error message otherwise you may practice the original performance.

You should try the following steps to check whether it solves the problem or not.
    1. Click on Start button and type Event Viewer in Start Search bar and hit Enter.
    2. This will open Event Viewer window. From the tree pane which is there on the left side, you have to double-click Windows Logs and then select Applications to make out the catalog of Application events.
    3. Start the program from there and see whether it shows you the same result.

This seems that the problem is with the incompatibility codec. My suggestion to you is to do the system restore for troubleshooting the difficulty. This can solve the problem for you and if you found that the problem is not solved then you can take out Adobe Encore CS4/Adobe Media Player. After doing that, the problem can be eliminated. Just try these two things and this can take you out of the issue.

The Skyplayer that you are using may be corrupted and that is why you are getting the problems. It is possible that the Skyplayer is conflicting the processing of the media player. You can try to uninstall and install the software again. If that is not working then there are many other players that can replace Skyplayer. So download any one of them and install that in your system. This will be the best option for you if nothing helps you.

If your system is infected by the virus then you can get the problems like this. So use a antivirus program, the best which I can suggest you is the AVG. so download it and install it. It is freely available on web. Install that to your computer and scan the system with that. Heal all the infected files. Make sure you are using the updated antivirus. After that reboot your system and see whether it again creates the same problem? If it is due to virus infection then it will solve the problem.
