A good 3dmark06 score for this present days

We can see that the technology is keep on updating time to time as well as with its hardware component. Today’s technology will be history on tomorrow and send to garbage. As well as in computer technology the Hardware peripherals are upgrading and inventing for a superior, faster, compact and can be recycle. The performances of such components are calculated by seeing their 3dmark06 score usually. I am not familiar with other; I am just saying my method. We can recognize the capability of CPU, memory, GPU and other by seeing those scores. When the scores become lower we assume that there might be some sort of problem or failure in those. I am familiar with the score which are several time older than these days. So I am asking what will be the best 3dmark06 score in current days. I hope that I will get the satisfactory replies from you.

The 3DMark Score is not depend on the generation but it is depend on the configuration of your computer or CPU case. The score varies time to time; it will not be stay constant for all. The scores depends on the specification like motherboard, RAM capacity, Number of GPU and its power, PSU, CPU power, temperature these all effects the variation in 3DMark.My specification is as follows
    • Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 @ 4913 MHz processor
    • Asus Striker Extreme motherboard
    • NVIDIA GeForce 8800 Ultra Graphic card
    • No Co-operative adapter

The 3DMark Score is 25212 and the CPU Score is 7662

I don’t understand what you are seeking for. What you really need? Do you need overall score or a CPU score otherwise a GPU score? Scores are different from model to model and combination. You will get a one type of score before overclock and after overclocked the score will increases accordingly. For the current generation the best score will be in between 10000 to 12000. If your system configuration is perfect you will obviously get good score over you thought.

The best score till I can get in 3DMark06 is 13257. I am not bother about the scores with 3dmark05. The specifications of my system as follows
    • Core 2 Quad q6600 @ 3.29 GHZ processor
    • 8800gtx @ 640/1022 card
    • ga-p35-dq6 board
    • 2GB DD2-800 RAM
    • Viewsonic 27.5" widescreen LCD at 1900x1200 resolutions

By this specification I can play games very smoothly and can perform some video editing and graphic designs without any problem. Applications will perform on it as it was created for.
