Nero Vision 10 DVD render quality issue

If I start the rendering of direct to DVD, it is omitting the alternate sections and running with the resolution . If I export with the mpeg2 DVD preset (with de-interlace enabled ) at initial stage and then after burn the same onto the DVD, it is well (and I can take benefits of the smart encoding to ignore the same being re-encoded). Why unable to Nero Vision cope if I move straight from 1080i to DVD without exporting ? Should not there be a same "de-interlace" options in other location in the DVD burning system as well as in the export-to-file system?m?

I am also running with the same issue creating DVD video starting from AVI unzipped from a panasonic videocamera ( 720 quality, not high quality) onto the Windows Xp professional. The strange issue is that at first I have generated a DVD simply by combining some videos and nerovision generating I good video (that is at maximum quality) but after the same , simply writing some executing the phrases onto the same video, the render quality has increased to a very minimum level (the video was unusable after all) regardless of what type of configuration you are running with .

I have had the same issues. I have captured the HD video on a Sony HDR-CX350v in FX mode (24Mbps), put the same into the movie with the help of Nero Vision 10, and when it is burnt to DVD the image quality seems as something captured via the lens covered in Vaseline. According to me, the work-around offered here (export to MPEG2 first) makes not much changes. The actual footage (1080i) is crystal clear however.

I used to go with every option, "Motion-adaptive Deinterlacing" (checked/unchecked), "Sample Format" (tried entire option), "Encoding mode" (tried Fast encoding (1-pass) and High Quality (2-pass VBR)).

Actually, we required something that would be helpful for us to measure out the issue . we have got the means of the issue that is received from some customers but this is bad luck that we never could regenerate the same. We would like to help you and analyze the issue but according to the current situation , we would have to be with the .nvc files and also the actual file that you are working with currently . Please send both to techsupport so that we are able to analyze and find out the actual issue regarding this .

You need to go with only Full HD (1080p or 1080i) videos clips to regenerate this. Open up the new AVCHD (disk drive directory) project, queue up the HD clip into the project, click onto the "make movie" (clip must be shown on the timeline and then, if not just queued up within the timeline. That is necessary : clip should be associated into the video editor and compiled in the current mode, not just as another section of the project), do nothing with editing and use the "Next" button. The clip must be shown up in the project just like a "movie" with special pictogram imposed on this . Go through the final stage by using the "next" (you may deactivate the DVD menus to speedup the encoding process) and allow Nero to convert the movie into the .m2ts file.

Re: Nero Vision 10 DVD render quality issue

It seems to me as you are trying to make the AVCHD disk - high definition on conventional media. If it is like that then , have you figured out that the MPEG-4 AVC codec always configured as defaults with the settings as "Normal" quality when going through the rendering procedure ? All the different values, manageable from the Recording Format Options, can be saved as the default but the codec quality can't be committed and you need to manage the same to "Best" every blinking' time. Avoid that and the quality suffers.
