    IE taking 60% CPU load

Currently I am having Abit IS7 mobo and the graphic card GeForce FX, I do not know what is the problem for this but the internet explorer on my computer system is taking more than 60% CPU load. This problem becomes really weird if I am opening more than one internet explorer window on my system. At that time I am not able to operate the system any more.

I am not sure that this will help you but, have you tried AdAware for making sure that the spyware is not messing this thing. As far as I know internet explorer horrendous for the spyware and also for the security problems. It will be better if you use any other browser something like opera or Mozilla Firefox. Try to use other browser and tell me the thing about the result.

I think this is the problem of virus so it will be better to use any antivirus software for your computer system. You will also require check the firewall settings of your system may be some Trojan is causing this problem. I am sure that antivirus software will definitely solve the problem, because in any manner internet explorer will not require that much amount of CPU load.

But I always open the task manager, two processes "scanningprocess.exe" which mobilizes 35 and 30MB, a process 'vsmon.exe', which involves two processes 35MB and explore "and IEXPLORER.EXE EXPLORER.EXE" which mobilizes 45mo and 25 mo and the last one which is called: SVCHOST.EXE mobilizing 25MB. Could you tell me if this is normal and what is what they are?

vsmon.exe is for a program that is a part of your firewall, Zone alarm. For iexplorer is not normal, because it is spyware parasite that explore (Internet Explorer). Download and scan your PC with AVG anti spyware. Scan your PC with this online virus: (to do with Internet Explorer only). Click "I Agree" and scans the entire PC. Think accept the ActiveX blocked by the anti-popup SP2 (it will flash up).

Well I don't think so that it may be your virus problem, but as I just suggest you the best to use the other browser than IE. Just try to use Firefox and check that having the same problem or not.

To really compare it must do so with the final version! For example, with the latest versions actuellessur Pentium 4-3 GHz, as a single nucleus, an object takes about <video> tags: 20% for Firefox 3.6.6 (one process), 10% for Google Chrome 5.0.379.x (if there is only one process, 15% if we count them all) 15% for Opera 10.60 (single process) and anything with Safari or Internet Explorer 8 and if your system is taking more than this then there is problem with the operating system.

Firefox 3.6.6 reserves between 10 and 15%, or 1800 MHz max. Firefox 4b1, he nibbles a few percent more. But the thing that bothers me is that Firefox 3.6.6 was "margin" to exploit the processor or the video is not fluid. On the other hand, a stream 30 FPS is perfectly fine read, with an identical load A little research later, I understand better: the width of the video is set to 100% of the space provided. But even in ensuring that outer space is the width of the video, playback is very jerky.
