Lightroom 2.7 shows no files in folder

I had Lightrrom 2.5 application installed to the system. I upgraded the pack to 2.7 and when I see the picture folder there are no files in it. I do not know why is this happening? What could be the reason? Please help me out so that I can make the changes and work with the application well. It would be very much helpful. I use a desktop machine and it is been installed with Windows 7 64 bit.
