Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 Video and Audio issue

I use a desktop and it is been installed with Windows 7 64 bit. I have installed Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 application to the system and the problem is that my video plays jerky and the audio that runs in the background is intermittent. I do not know why is this happening? What could have caused this. Any suggestion and help will be appreciated.

The issue could well being related to the operating system that you are using. In order to make it work it is essential that the application is very much compatible. All you need to check out for the thing that is by installing the application under compatible mode. Run the system under safe mode option and then try to install the application. As safe mode do not have embedded feature it will get install well and may process accordingly.
