Installing problem for ATI Catalyst 10.4 Windows 7 x64

I am currently using an ATI Catalyst from 10.3 and now i am trying to upgrade it by installing an ATI Catalyst from 10.4 but it is just not happening. Whenever i try to install it, It just crashed out. Is there anybody who is also facing the same problem?

Even i have installed an ATI Catalyst 10.4 for my 64 bit windows 7 operating system but i have not seen crashing for it. I do not know from where you are installing it. I think you have to mention the stage where it gets crashed so that people would be more comfortable to give you proper reply.

I guess the link from where you have downloaded the latest version of an ATI Catalyst would be having some problem regarding their server support because of which it might happen that you have not installed the whole copy of the catalyst properly. You must download the same software from some other website and try to install.
I guess it should be working now.

I have installed an ATI Catalyst 10.4 and it was working but that is different problem that it was in the lower resolution of 800x600 but until reboot. I think you should try installing the same from some reputed website URL where this kind of problem does seems to be causing.
It might also be happening because of the drivers of your windows operating system.

Actually you must have gone through the wrong installation process while installing the ATI Catalyst 10.4 on your 64 bit version Windows 7. Actually you must be having the drivers on your computer system when you are installing the catalyst. Actually you must uninstall the drivers first then you may go for installing the catalyst and finally then install the drivers.
