Inorder to extract photos from DVD, you will have to get a particular software called DGMPGDec. After that, follow the steps that are given below:
    1. When the DVD with the slideshows is played, you need to browse the VOB files in it.
    2. After that, load DGIndex.exe.
    3. Next, go to file and then, select Open.
    4. Now the particular VOB file needs to be selected.
    5. A window will be opened and you have to click on OK after that.
    6. Then, you have to scroll the progress bar in the center and the ">" button has to for about 25 times.
    7. Now, the file has to be saved with the option of Demux Video.

    This must do the trick.
