IMG/ISO not mounting - write denied??

Hello everyone, since I have done a clean install of the Windows 7 operating system, a weird problem has struck my system. The problem is that IMG/ISO not mounting and I also get a message as write denied.

Does anyone knows why this is happening? I am using Daemon Tools for the purpose of mounting and it was working fine in Windows XP, that is the previous operating system that I was using.

I am awaiting for suitable replies to fix this issue.

    Hello there,
It seems that there is a problem with the software that you are using for the mounting because of which the IMG/ISO not mounting and write denied issues are being encountered. I use "Virtual Clone Drive" for the mounting purpose.

You can try out a change in the software for mounting. If it solves the issue, then well and good. Just let me know if the issue is still persisting or solved after the use of this software.

There is a possibility that the version of Daemon Tools software that you are using is incompatible with the Windows 7 operating system. This may be the reason that IMG/ISO is not mounting and the write permissions are denied. If this is so, then get the latest version of this software because I am using the same and I am able to mount as well as write the image files in my system with the Windows 7 operating system.

Re: IMG/ISO not mounting - write denied??

Even if the version of the software that you are using is incompatible with the Windows 7 operating system, the situation of IMG/ISO not mounting and write denied can be resolved. This can be done by setting the operating system in the compatibility mode, that is with the help of the troubleshoot compatibility option.
You can use the settings provided by the system or you can also do these settings by manually mentioning about the problems that you are facing.
Just remember to apply the settings for the future if everything is working fine.

I am also using the Windows 7 operating system and have experienced many such problems as the one you are facing, that is IMG/ISO is not mounting and write denied. This is happening because the operating system is actually blocking the software or program from starting. There is a need to use the Run as Administrator option to resolve this problem. I am sure that there will be no problems after that.

Quit using the Windows 7 operating system to fix the problem of IMG/ISO not mounting and write denied permissions. You will be facing many other issues in the future if you continue with this operating system. If you are looking for a change in the operating system, then you can change to Windows Vista because its features are similar to Windows 7 ans there are no incompatibility problems too with it.
