Edit subtitles in existing .VOB files

I am trying to get some information on how to edit subtitles in existing .VOB files. I hope that I get some help for the people here. The subtitles already exist and I need to change and edit the same. If the subtitles, do not exist, can I add new ones to them? Can I also change the timing also? My computer is running Windows Vista Home Premium operating system.
All possible replies and comments on this topic are duly appreciated.

Hello there, I dont think that a normal user like you can edit subtitles in existing .VOB files. This is because this work is done by professionals and it also requires a professional tool. I suppose that it is very difficult to get the same. So, I suggest you to quit the idea of editing and adding subtitles to any .VOB files. I hope that you understand what the issue is.

I am using Stream SubText for editing subtitles in existing .VOB files. Make sure that you download the latest version of this software, so that all the features are enabled in it as well as it will be compatible with the operating system, that you are using, since you may be knowing that many of the old versions of the applications, programs and softwares are incompatible with Windows Vista.

There is no need to worry about the incompatibility problem with Windows Vista. This is because even if you can get the older versions of the softwares, then there is an option for the compatibility mode. So, if you have any sort of incompatibility problems with the softwares, running in Windows Vista, then this mode will help a lot.
