    How to edit dvd subtitles

I want to edit the subtitles of a DVD a bought. When i purchased a DVD, i entered some name as subtitle but later i found that it is not proper so i want to delete the subtitle, and I would like to burn a backup with corrected subtitles. There's any way to extract subtitles, edit them and add them to a backup DVD ?

Anything is possible but there is always compromises. Open Subtitle Edit by double clicking its shortcut icon on dekstop. Click the Open button on the top left corner of SE and then select the subtitle file that you want to edit. And For movie only, I would suggest you to simply demux all video & audio streams from the main movie (VOBEdit can do this easy). Then use Subrip to rip out any subtitles you want.

Subs on a dvd are not character-based, but present as bitmaps. You can use subrip or vsrip (vobsub) to extract the bitmaps & convert them to text using OCR.
Here i will povide you the procedure to edit DVD subtitles..Download the Nero burner from the internet, Insert the DVD-ROM the disc on which you want to add a subtitle. If you have an DVD Image on the HardDrive mount it first with Daemon Tools. Open DVD Decrypter, go to Tools menu and then press "Settings" and after that press "IFO Mode" tab and set the parameters, press OK and go to "Mode" menu and select "IFO I". Right click on the Chapters section, then go for Chapters->Import Chapters... Double click the Sub 1 line and a new window will appear. First you must chose the subtitle language... You can choose color, face, size, style. Now you can see your subtitle line added automaticaly.
