Unable to install Avast on Fedora 11 x86

    Hello to all,
I am having this problem from the last week. I unable to install Avast on Fedora 11 x86. Now I also not able to RPM package on the x86 version. There is only one unmet dependency called as "libexpat.so.0". I think libexpat.so.0 is pointed to the libexpat.so.1.5.2. Anyone else having the same problem. Please help me.

Hey, when there is library is present, you have to use installation process. It means you have to use the installation using --nodeps. I think after using this your problem will solve. If that does not work then tell me that which symbol of library is not present there. Now just go to the library and look out for that symbol.

Can anyone tell me is there on-access protection is available on the Avast! Linux Home Edition. If you are using two daemons then make sure that they will not conflict with each other. Normally daemons will not conflict. If you are using cooperate, it means if there are same user id and if they hare their SHM memory blocks, then they can run faster. If they are using different UIDs then don't have nothing in the common.

From your information it seems that your Avast is not compatible with your Fedora 11 x86 and that's why you are getting such type of problem. In this case you have to look put for the old version or the compatible version for your Fedora 11 x86. Just go to official site of the Avast and try to find version that is compatible with your Fedora 11 x86.

It seems that Avast is not compatible with your operating system and that's why you are getting such type of problem. In this case try to use another antivirus for your operating system. Why don't you use avg antivirus for your computer. I think it is one of the most popular and advanced antivirus for your computer.
