    MP4 Encoding in Snow Leopard

    Hi,
How to create mp4 audio files from Quicktime. I have to create some audio disc for a occasion. To play sound that speakers it is necessary that quality of the same must be much better. I have QuickTime 7 and I had not found any option in it indicating the conversion. What are the other software's available to give out the same output if Quicktime does not support this.

The simplest solution is to use iTunes which offers the possibility to encode your audio CDs to MP3 format but also in MP4 format (AAC). But iTunes can encode the audio but not Video clips of course, because this application is an audio application. For audio things it is the best and most appropriate solution for the same. Otherwise you will have to switch for other tool.

Under OS X, it is also possible to listen and view audio and video in MPEG-4 using QuickTime X if these sequences of files lies on your hard drive. In the case of audio or video streaming in QuickTime 7 you will need to add up some relevant codecs and plugins from internet. Normally you will need nothing here to convert and view mpeg 4 files.

Quicktime you also have the ability to encode in MP4 (MPEG-4). That means it can rip your audio CD or encode video in MP4 format on some clicks. The only condition for that is that you must purchase QuickTime 7 Pro. By upgrading to QuickTime 7 Pro, you can access many new functions of import / export and encoding many video and audio formats, the ability to watch movies in full screen mode, create slide-shows and then you will also have the option of creating your own MP4 video files and audio.

I am using Quicktime only to encode my files. It is the most easiest way. For converter any songs to mp4 you have to do this. Go to File and then click on Export in QuickTime 7 Pro Player. Now from thsi windows choose the format MPEG - 4 from the menu. And done your files will be converted to mp4 files which can be later on played on Quicktime.

Just add up the audios to iTunes libraries. The easiest way now to rip your CD Audio in MP4 format (AAC) is much safer to use iTunes. A another way to do this using ImTOO MP4 Video Converter. It is a program that allows for conversions between different media formats (audio and video). The number of video formats creates the need for a powerful conversion tool that allows to adapt different formats to different devices and portable players.
