Remove Autocomplete names in the address entry

Remove ALL the suggested names in the address entry i have many names that have been seized and supplemented by Outlook, and many have become inaccurate, it is certainly easier to reset the list of names rather than trying to remove them one by one. Thanks for any help

    Delete Individual Entries

    • Start typing the name that you want to delete.
    • When the name that you want to delete appears, use the cursor keys to highlight it.
    • Press the "Delete" key to remove the entry.

You can also stop Outlook from suggesting email addresses as you type:
    1. Select Tools | Options... from the menu.
    2. Go to the Preferences tab.
    3. Click E-mail Options....
    4. Now click Advanced E-mail Options....
    5. Make sure Suggest names while completing To, Cc, and Bcc fields is not checked.
    6. Click OK. Click OK again. Click OK once more.

Use NK2View with it you can View/Delete/Edit Outlook .NK2 AutoComplete Information , This utility reads the AutoComplete file of Outlook (with .NK2 extension), displays all email records stored in it, and allows you to easily export these records into text/html/xml file.

    Exit Outlook first.

    • Start the Windows search for the button Start, Research (or keys [Windows]+[F])
    • Click on the link all files and folders the left side.
    • Enter *.NK2 in the area Some or all of the file name.
    • Select your hard drive in the area Search or click on the button Browse to select the folder Documents and setting then your name, to accelerate research.
    • Click on the button Advanced Options And check boxes Look in the files and folders hidden and Search subfolders.
    • Finally, click on the button Research to search.
    • Then delete or rename the file found then exit the search.
    • Restart Outlook to verify that the auto is blank.

Normally, under Windows 2000/XP, the file should be here C:\Documents and Settings\[votre session windows]\Application Data\Microsoft.
For Vista this is: C:\Users\[votre session windows]\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Outlook

    Its default name is Outlook.nk2.
