Unable to install Limewire in windows 7

hi friends i was using the Limewire software quiet decently with the windows Vista. Recently i have upgraded my system to windows 7. After which the real problem started that is my limewire crashed suddenly after the windows 7 upgradation so i would like to have a solution regarding this problem. why i am unable to install Limewire on windows 7 again. please help me out.

Recently i have formatted my hard drive and after loading the windows 7 again i was not allowed to install the Limewire on to my system again. After this i downloaded the most recent version from the limewire website but when i launced the installer i got an error message saying "LimeWireLauncher Error" Also help me at your earliest.

Sounds like the installer you which have downloaded is corrupted because of error in transmission of the installer. So now clear all your browser's cache and then delete the installer which you have already downloaded. After doing this download the installer again. Also make sure that you are not using any download managers or download accelerators as they have been known to produce these errors.

In order to solve this issue remove all traces of the limewire software present on your system you can also use the registry cleaner or the windows uninstaller program. Open the start menu select run and enter regedit and press OK. This will open the registry editor. Now, Type 'limewire' and delete every key you find that conntains limewire. After this you can install the limewire software easily.

You might be getting this error due to the absence of 7zip or a similar compression mechanism. So it would be better if you try to get some equivalent program. Install this on your system prior installing the limewire when you have installed this program you can install the limewire software on to your system with windows 7.

Sometimes the Java installer automatically gets freezed on some systems running with windows 7. On such ocassions uninstall all versions of LimeWire and Java Run time Environment from Add/Remove Programs located in the Control Panel. After doing this install Java here, then install LimeWire software which will fix this issue.
