What is the method to resize the Recycle bin?

Hey i have a small issue regarding the use of the Recycle bin windows operating system and i think that this is the right place to ask the question about the same. Actually my hard disk have less space so i am using different method to reduce the memory. Like i have deleted the temporary file, Cookies and all. But every thing i delete is stored in the recycle bin. SO i need the method to reduce the size of the Recycle Bin. Any help may be appreciated.

Before moving to the resizing of the Recycle Bin first you have to empty the recycle bin. And also if you want you can make restore point of the same. Now right click on the the Recycle bin icon and then to the property. from here you can select to configure drives independently or Globally by setting the same size for all drive and also u can use it to delete the file immediately. Thank you

Hey, I will not recommend you to use the above method because ti is not the right way to delete the files. I will suggest you to configure each drive individually. Now select the tab for each drive from the "Recycle Bin Property" window and move the slider to the 1 percent and it is done. I think that you like the idea provided by me to help you for the same.

As the recycle bin are used for the string the data which are deleted from the system or useless for the storage and it is set to the 10% but if you set to the 1% it will save the memory of the hard disk. You can also configured the other drive with the recycle bin property. So use it see the response of the same. Thanks.

Re: What is the method to resize the Recycle bin?

The Recycle Bin provides a safety net when deleting files or folders. When you delete any of these items from your hard disk, Windows places it in the Recycle Bin and the Recycle Bin icon changes from empty to full. Items deleted from a floppy disk or a network drive are permanently deleted and are not sent to the Recycle Bin. Items in the Recycle Bin remain there until you decide to permanently delete them from your computer. These items still take up hard disk space and can be undeleted or restored back to their original location. When it fills up, Windows automatically cleans out enough space in the Recycle Bin to accommodate the most recently deleted files and folders.
