Screen won't scroll properly with Outlook and Word

Its really wired issue, never faced it before. Suddenly my scroll bar is not working properly in Outlook and Word, which is working fine when i'm in Windows Explorer. Word and Outlook won't scroll to desired location . I can not go to down of the page with the mouse scroll key, If I scroll down
by dragging the bar on the right side of the screen, I can go down. Any idea whats going on? Any settings to make it proper?

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the mouse driver ? Try another mouse , if with another mouse you face same condition then its surly to do something with mouse settings and driver, otherwise faulty is your mouse.

Sounds like you don't have the correct driver installed. what mouse do you use? the generic mouse or Logitech drivers don't support live scrolling. Does it work if you just roll the wheel within the message list, without holding the button down to drag the slider? Check in Control Panel>Mouse>Wheel tab , do everything is greyed out ? If yes then its obviously Windows is not detecting a scroll mouse.
