Cyberlink PowerDVD to play blu-ray disc in Window 7

I am recently installed Windows 7 on my computer. I had bought a blu-ray disc last week. It is a movie disc which I want to see today. But I doubt that will it run on Windows 7. I took my friends suggestions regarding this and he said me to use CyberLink PowerDVD 9 to play blu-ray. Is it true that I can play my blu-ray disc under Windows 7 using CyberLink PowerDVD 9?
