It depends on what system configuration you have. What configuration have you dedicated to the vmware. What amount of system memory and graphics memory do you give for the vmware. Please post the above details, may be then you could get what you are looking for...

Re: Will video card work in vmware

    My Computer Specifications :
    Intel Core2Duo 2.8Ghz
    4GB DDR2 RAM
    1GB Graphics Card

I have dedicated the vmware with :

    2GB RAM
    512MB Graphics Memory

Will this be able to enable Graphics of Windows 7? I want to try Windows 7 RC before i install it to my computer. I hope this configuration Works with the wmware to enable Windows 7 Aero feature... Any suggestions?

Windows 7 will be installed very smoothly on the vmware if you have dedicated the configuration as you have mentioned. But i doubt if the Graphics capabilities can be enabled on that machine. VMWare does not allow you to customize the graphics card, but you can just dedicate some graphics memory to the vmware machine which will eb taken from your RAM and not your Graphics Memory. So i don't think you wil be able to enable Windows 7 Aero on it. If you are afraid that Windows 7 will screw up your computer, then you are under wrong impression. Windows 7 is smooth as Windows XP and the Graphics is better then Vista. All games and programs works well with Windows 7. So just give it a try. You can install Windows 7 on a separate partition and dual boot your computer. If anything goes wrong, you can always format the Windows 7 partition and use only Windows XP as before.
