If you're upgrading your existing computer, or getting a new one with Windows Vista, you can access AOL email, instant messaging, content and many other AOL features at the AOL.com Web site. Windows Vista users who wish to use AOL software to enjoy the Internet should install one of these free, Vista-compatible versions:
AOL 9.5
AOL Desktop
Note: Dial-up users must first install updated AOL software to ensure you'll be able to connect to the Internet once on Windows Vista.
You can install or reinstall a new copy of AOL software from an installation CD or download it from AOL on the web.
-- Download AOL software from AOL on the web with an existing internet connection
You can download AOL 9.0 VR directly from the internet. This version of AOL is compatible with Windows Vista and XP only.
1. Visit http://info.aol.co.uk/downloads.
2. Under the Download the latest version of AOL section, click the Get it now link.
3. Click the Download button, then follow the onscreen instructions.
4. Once the download is complete click the New Member button, then follow the onscreen instructions to register as a new member.
