Issue while uninstalling Internet Explorer

Hi friends,

I am facing an issue with my Internet explorer,Whenever i try to uninstall Internet Explorer.I am not not able to do and i am also getting some kind of error message as "Microsoft Windows XP won't allow you to uninstall Internet Explorer".

Can anyone fix this issue for me i would really appreciate that person.

Try to download the latest version of IE 8 and if that also don't worked for you try to update it by following this steps:-

1. Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
2. Now click on System, and then click the Automatic Updates tab.
3. Click Performance and Maintenance, click System, and then click the Automatic Updates tab.
4. Click the option that you want. Make sure Automatic Updates is not turned off.

I try to download IE 8 same issue even i try to download on the link which you have provided it to me but seems it's of no use can anyone provide me with a good solution.

I was also facing such kind of issue i try to follow the below steps and it worked out for me hope it will work for you too.

1. Click on Start.
2. Type regedit in run Option.
3. Registry Window would get open and now try to browse to the following location
   
   
   
   • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ Microsoft\Active Setup\Installed Components\{89820200-ECBD-11cf-8B85-00AA005B4383}
   
   
   
4. Now in the right-hand pane, double-click on the DWORD value Is Installed and change it from 1 to 0 .
   
5. Finally close regedit and go to the Windows update site again for update and i am sure till time you would be able to update
