    How to find slope in Line Charts in Excel

    Hi friends,

    I want to have a find slope line chart graph in Excel 2007.Can any one help me out with this issue since i am new to Excel.

    Sure i will help you out with this follow the below steps:-

    1. Put your values in two columns(i.e 1 for x-axis and y-axis).
    2. Select both the Columns and select Line option from Insert.


    Now you can see a graph with showing the line graph.

    Thanks for your reply but it didn't worked for me.I need to have slope in my line chart.

    Try to follow this steps and i am sure it will work for you.

    1. Enter your data in two columns.
    2. Highlight the data. Insert an x-y scatter graph.
    3. Right click on the series and add trendline.
    4. Use linear, and in the options tick the box that shows display formula on line.
