Need software for camcorder panasonic

I finally decided to put my 2 videos on my PC from my Panasonic mini DV NV-GS17, but pc doesn't recognize my camcorder i am thinking of getting a software for this, but i have the same problem in my samsung R710 vista portable,The pc doesn't recognize it also .

I dont know whats wrong my pc or my portables or i need a software for it ( to recognize a portable ) . I have a Windows XP in computer .

Can you explain to us what cable you are connected to your camcorder to the PC and what software you use to drive?

Try this site they got lot of drivers for Panasonic mini DV NV-GS17 try using this drivers, maybe it can get recognize ?

I have the same problem with my Samsung Vp D55 Camcorder. I tried on vista sp3,sp2 and XP. It just nothing happened. It shows DV sign on the camera when plug it but nothing happen on the PC.

Assuming you are trying to transfer video, buy a firewire card for your computer and you will almost certainly not require specific drivers.
