it can't work with all types of virtual disks the most popular are supported. Alcohol is an easy-to-use program because of it's great interface which is translated into my native russian. Maybe some users can feel the difference between Alcohol 120 % and 52 % but it is not about me. In my opinion, 52 % has all vital tools which are needed to work with virtual drives. Amazing freeware is my conclusion!
