Though it must be available as from tomorrow, October 22, yet the Microsoft Surface 2 has joined the homes of some British buyers who benefited from early development of its availability.
It seems that British retailer decided to offer the surface 2 tablet of Microsoft previewed last week. Worse, the availability was clearly displayed on the online site of the latter, prompting buyers to collect their tablet by hand in one of its stores with sufficient stocks.
It is the retailer Argos that proposed this operation, a journalist with The Verge, Chris Nelis who managed to acquire some photos of the Surface 2 tablet with 32 GB of storage capacity at the store was kept on sale last Friday.
Other journalists have also managed to get the tablet in question until Saturday, after which the case was reported to management and Microsoft, all sales have been suspended.
A spokesman for Argos spoke this weekend to announce removing and preventing further sales of Microsoft tablets saying that "We fully comply with embargos issued by our suppliers and have withdrawn the Microsoft Surface 2 from sale with immediate effect. We are working with Microsoft to investigate this error as a matter of urgency."
