    Problems while running Battlefield 2

Hello, I recently installed Battlefield 2 on my new computer which is running on Windows 7 but it wont work. Whenever I try to run the game, it looks like the game will start but it then terminates itself. When the game is executed, the screen fluctuates for sometimes and then returns to the desktop. The following is the configuration of my rig :-
    Intel quad core processor @3ghz
    Geforce 8800 GTS graphic card
    1gb Kingston Ram.
So if anybody else is facing similar Problems while running Battlefield 2 then please share some information. Thanks in advance.

First check the minimum system requirements of battlefield 2 before trying to run the game on the computer. Every game requires that minimum requirements of the game must be fulfilled by the computer. If the computer does not fulfill the minimum system requirements of the game, then the game will either not run at all or will run with some problems. Therefore check the minimum system requirements of the game and see if your system fulfills them. If the minimum system requirements are not fulfilled then dont try to run the game as it may damage the computer.

There must be some problem with the installed version of the game. All the applications have lot of files which are associated to it. If any of the associated files is corrupt or missing on the system, then the application will not work properly. The only solution to the problem is to replace all the files which are missing or corrupt on the system. Replacing the missing files will solve the problem. Uninstall the current installed game from the computer and remove all the files/keys which are related to the game. After this is done, reinstall the game and check if the game runs properly or not.

Windows 7 does not support all the games which are supported by Windows Xp and Windows Vista operating system. If the game is not supported by the operating system then the game will not run on the computer. The list of the game which are supported by the operating system is available on the official website. Check the list and see if the game is supported by the operating system. If the game is not supported, then there is nothing much you can do about it.

Nvidia graphic cards have to be configured manually to run the gaming applications. Nvidia graphic cards are preconfigured to run high end graphics editing software's. These settings create problems while running different gaming applications. Therefore you will have to configure the graphic card again so that the game will smoothly. Open the graphic properties and click on Manage 3D settings. Select Anistropic filtering and enable force off. Select Vertical sync and enable force off. Select Triple buffering and enable force off. Save the settings and then see if the game is working or not.
