    Disable the firewall in Vista

    Click on Start (logo at the bottom left of your screen)

    1. Choose a classic display (top left)

    2. Open Windows Firewall

    3. After click Enable or disable Windows Firewall

    4. Thereafter the User Account Control of Windows will block your screen and you display a window and you must click on Continue

    5. Check the box next to Disable (not recommended)

    6. Click on Apply and then click OK (all at the bottom of the window)

    1. Open the Control Panel.

    2. Click View classic.

    3. Double-click Windows Firewall.

    4. Click "Change Settings".

    5. Go to the Advanced tab.
