The Flip3D is a visual tool to Vista (equivalent to the ALT + TAB), which allows switching between open windows. To use this tool, press the Windows key + TAB or the Windows key + Shift + TAB. To freeze the screen, use the Windows logo key + CTRL + TAB, then use the arrows to select a window and press the ENTER key.
Note: The tool will not work if Aero is disabled.
To disable (or reactivate) the tool without having to disable Aero, follow these steps:
For professional and full editions
Type gpedit.msc in the search bar in the Start menu and press the ENTER key.
- Go to: Computer Configuration> Administrative Templates> Windows Components> window manager of the Bureau.
- Make a double-click Do not allow the invocation of Flip3D.
- Check the box and press on (check the Disabled or Not Configured to reactivate the Flip3D).
- The changes will be made after the reopening of the session.
