    Opera scrolling too fast

I have installed the opera in my laptop because it gives fast browsing speed but I facing some problem with that. My problem is that when I open any of the pages that is long enough and I try to scroll down the pages then it scrolls very fast till it reaches to the end. This is very frustrating. I don’t know that what the reason is for this. Can you please tell me that what the problem with it is? I think that the Opera is not compatible with and that is the reason that is showing me that symptom. I have already tried many things that I know to solve the problem but those were not helpful. Please tell me the proper solution for this issue. I will be thankful for all the replies.

I consider, even though I am not 100% sure but it is possible that the scroll pace is a purpose of windows and have nothing to with the opera. You can try to see for the "mouse" applet that is there within the control panel and see therein to observe if there are some constraints that can be set to resolve this problem. If you are having your system running under windows xp then you should search for windowsxp powertoys in google and install that in your computer. This will permit you to perform many of stuff plus to put the total lines used for scrolling . This is working fine with Windows XP. After a few reflections I have understand it may not be in powertoys but might be in somewhat known as TweakUI. You should check for that also.

    Re: Opera scrolling too fast

There are many dissimilar ways for scrolling. The arrow keys (but I do not like to use that), the Space bar as well as Shift+Space(which is my preferred), mouse wheel, (I am not having that but I know that this will work for scrolling the pages.), the scrollbars (it now needs a sluggish movement to formulate scrolling slow), the space flanked by the scrollbars as well as the top/bottom that must scroll quick and page-wise, the arrow buttons that is there on peak as well as base of the scrollbars, particular areas on touchpad, flick movements resting on a touch screen and also there are many more may be I have forget those. A few of them be able to be as slow as you desire or as you can direct to move your pointing device - so which one out of them is so quick for you?

There may be some problem with the opera that is installed in your computer and that is the reason that you are facing the problems like this. If you want to resolve that then you will have to install the opera setup once again and see if that is able to resolve the issue for you. I am sa;ying this to you because that may be due to bad installation of the opera. You have not mentioned that which version of the opera you are using. If you are using any other version than Opera 11 then I would like to recommend you to use the Opera 11. I am using the beta version of that and that is not showing any issue with that. So try this and I hope that this will solve the issue for you.
