How to track domain along with number of sub domain?

I have a single domain with 32 sub domains. Here I desire on the way to create a master profile where I be able to track user activity across the site as well as create a profile for each sub domain where I can also monitor user activity in this exacting area. Up to now, it is very clear, however do not recognize if I have to make a dissimilar profile for each sub-domain i.e., the analysis may have altered in the case of the profile or else another, I may add, in the main form domain by the creation of double View the profile of the similar or in this case the analysis may possibly be the same for everybody.

Wide access and ease of use, not to mention the lack of price tags, have made Google Analytics everywhere in modern business premises. It's easy to get going, have fun watching the data arrives, and the emergence of a very sophisticated software. But what many companies do not realize is that anything beyond a simple web page will probably require changes to ensure the accuracy of the data and take full advantage of Google Google Analytics. For example, a topic that has recently been with some clients is the basic use of Google Analytics tracking code on a primary domain and several sub-domains.

The trouble is that the use of code "plain vanilla", followed the example of the distortion of the data. This is for the reason that, by default, Google Analytics considers a field to a separate entity of a sub-domain. A visitor moves from one domain to a sub domain will be: a) counted twice plus b) identified in the report "Referring Sites" as coming from your domain - which are mainly helpful for the situation. Is further complex if the visitor in the sub-domain domain.

Google Analytics will not default, so long as it is and your sub1.domain.com, sub2.domain.com, Google Analytics tracks as a reference as an alternative of keeping the similar session and the same campaign information. If you make use of the e-commerce as well as sub domains used in e-commerce process, completely ruining his report for the reason that all transactions are assigned to the references (from your own site) furthermore you have no thought of how other marketing campaigns online (i.e., direct, organic CPC) are happening.

The best perform for indexing as well as referrals of the site would install a 301 permanent redirect htaccess on the way to redirect non www to www (or vice versa depending on the preference to be indexed by search engines, etc). If this is done, then all traffic is handled "properly" in the analysis, without modifying the tracking code necessary, provided that the correct Web page and by default is in the profile settings. Www Everything is a "subdomain" is not a subdomain in the classic sense .. usually a subdomain is his "own web site with very unique and distinct content.
