OVI results in "QtCore4.dll" error under Windows 7

I am running OVI 2.1.1.1 on my Windows 7 computer since last few weeks, everything went proper except the OVI launch. Every time I launch it, it won't start and results me in the following error message in the "event viewer":
Name of the application that generated the error: NokiaOviSuite.exe, Version: 2.1.1.1, time stamp: 0x4b857b2b
Module name that generated the error: QtCore4.dll, Version: 4.5.0.0, time stamp: 0x49a63f0a
    Exception Code: 0xc0000005
    Fault offset 0x000573e3
Process ID that generated the error: 0x15e4
Start time of the application that generated the error: 0x01cac680af119c08
Path to the application that generated the error: C: \ Program Files \ Nokia \ Nokia Ovi Suite \ NokiaOviSuite.exe
Path of the module that generated the error: C: \ Program Files \ Nokia \ Nokia Ovi Suite \ QtCore4.dll
    ID alert: fc7e932d-3273-11df-b27e-0012c80031a2
I tried to remove the current installation of OVI and reinstall it but it didn't installed my problem anyhow. Can anyone help me how to fix this?

I have seen this kind of issues occurring with a large number of users of OVI via proxy server. Do you connect to internet through a proxy server? Are you asked to authenticate with the user name and password to use internet via a proxy server? This should not be the actual cause of the problem, but I think this is one of the reason causing you such kind of startup crash.

Yes, I am using a proxy connection to port 8080 because I am sitting at my desk and I am authorized to use internet for certain sites only. The proxy connection certainly requires me to authenticate to access the Internet. Is there another alternative to use internet to access ovi ?

I have no solution for proxy authentication related issue. But, according to me, first close Ovi suite and open Internet Explorer. Authenticate your proxy with IE and then start Ovi Suite while the IE is still open. I am not 100% sure if it works but I think it's worth trying.

I tried as you said but this does not helped me. I always get the same error message. I even tried to install an Open VPN package, but to my surprise it worked like a charm. It seems to me that my computer is connected to the internet directly. But when I launched OVI, the same error appeared in front of me! What can I do now?

This problem is related to the network access. The solution that comes to my mind is remove the cable, start OVI. It should work. But remember not to reconnect the cable unless and until you are not using or you have closed OVI. This is simply because OVI requests a net access and tries to connect to OVI store when it finds the net connection.
