Be sure to enter and search the icon of a persons in the Account Options. Click the Update button, scroll down to see all options for an update. From there, click the Family Pack and highlight the "add a family pack to your account" button. From there it is assessed that would pay for the rest of his year.

Re: How to upgrade or renew .Mac account for MobileMe

If you’re a full MobileMe member, you can upgrade your account to a MobileMe Family Pack at any time. You can upgrade a trial MobileMe account to a regular MobileMe account, an email-only account*, or a Family Member account. To upgrade your individual MobileMe subscription to a Family Pack subscription:

    1. If you’re not already logged in to MobileMe Account, go to www.me.com, log in, and click the Account button in the toolbar at the top of the window.
    2. Click Account Options in the sidebar (on the left).
    3. In the Upgrades section, click the Upgrade button (if you have no upgrades yet) or the Add More Upgrades button (if you have other upgrades).
    4. Click the “Upgrade to a Family Pack” button.
    5. Click Continue, and then follow the onscreen instructions to enter your credit card information and complete the upgrade process.

You can upgrade a regular MobileMe account to a Family Pack account. (If using an activation key to update your account to a MobileMe Family Pack, the update will take effect when you renew your account.)
    1. Click Account Options in the left side of the sidebar.
    2. In the updates section, click the Refresh button (if you have no upgrades yet) or the Add button more updates (if you have other improvements).
    3. Click on "Upgrade to a button" Family Pack.
    4. Click Continue and follow the onscreen instructions to enter your credit card information

Everytime I update my web site with iWeb i get a message saying that my mobile me account will expire in x days. I have checked and double checked the credit card details etc and it actually says on my billing options that my account will renew on such and such a date.

It is an automatic process and you need not worry about the same. When the due date is on head, your account will be renewed automatically...
