Need help with setting up the Samsung PC share manager

Can anyone help me with the configuration the computer share manager? It does not see the television at all. I have the wired router widgets television and Internet is working. My laptop has a wireless link to the router. Has anybody got this working using a wireless computer to router link and wired Router to television connection? I am using the Samsung B7020. If anyone have any suggestion for me so please provide me it is better for me.

I don’t know it will help you or not but then also I would like to tell you that I have Samsung B650 among the same connection. And I don’t know is there any differences in the menu of set up. You can set the DNS server, IP address, subnet mask and gateway through manually. In my B650 all this settings are available in the menu. In the network set up\setup. If both have same configuration menu then you can set it manually. I hope it will help you.

I had a go at setting up IP addresses manually, but at what time I do that the TV cannot connect to the router. Connection always fails. It comes to ping gateway, and then has a thought about it and then errors. I guess I should be able to configure it manually as it connects seamlessly to the Internet through an automatic configuration. So any more advice on this would be appreciated. I did not have much time yesterday evening so I'll have another party this weekend. When I get time then I will try it once more. Thanks for your suggestion.

I don’t know I am right or wrong but may be possible that you did some mistakes during installation the Samsung PC manager software on NAS. Or may be possible you forgave the some instruction which is required to it. Same thing was happened with me nearly 5 month before but when I checked all setting and I reset the all setting properly then it woks nice for me. Now my suggestion is that when you get time then first check all necessary setting and if possible then reinstall the software with all requirements and let’s see if it works then it is better.

If you looking to install the Samsung PC manager software on a NAS then I have one suggasion on that and that is, I have now purchase a Buffalo LinkStation Pro 1.5TB. So you do not require installing the any kind of software (i.g.”Samsung PC Manager software”), because it has built-in DNLA. Buffalo make a Link Station Pro and Link Station Live. In fact the only difference is that the Pro has quicker tormenting capabilities if you have a number of citizens accessing the data and a dissimilar UI on the web access software. I can’t promise if this is correct, for your problem but as I said if you are using software of samsumg pc manager then at least once think for this.
