Random reboots in Dell xps 1645

I have Dell xps 1645 laptop in which I have windows 7 operating system and from last some days I am facing problem with my Dell xps 1645 laptop. Now while using the laptop means while working on some software’s like outlook or while watching videos it gets restarts. I don’t know what is wrong with this. Please help me to solve this problem.

Yes I am also agree with the above solution. if you are getting the random restarting problem in your Dell xps 1645 laptop after installing any software’s then you have to open the control panel and then go to the uninstall programs and then you have to uninstall that software from there and after that you have to restart the computer and then you have to check whether you are facing the same problem or not. You should try to solve this problem by turning off all the power management options like Sleep option and hibernate option. You have to set all this option to never and then check whether you are facing the same problem or not. as far as I know after trying this solution your problem will get solved.

I have read your solutions and I have first tried to solve this problem by turning off all the power management options in my Dell xps 1645 laptop and after turning off the power management option also same problem was occurring. Now after that I have run the system diagnostic in my laptop and that doesn’t help me to solve this issue.

I will suggest you to update the BIOS in your Dell xps 1645 laptop and after updating the BIOS in your laptop your laptop will start working fine. as far as I know there is BIOS update available for your Dell xps 1645 laptop and I will suggest you to download the latest BIOS update file from the internet and afetr downloading the BIOS update file you have to create the bootable DVD of that and then update the BIOS and after updating the BIOS your problem will get solved.
