Dell XPS m1330 crashes after getting vertical line on display

From last some months I am using Dell XPS m1330 laptop and I have windows vista operating system in my laptop. Some days I was working on my laptop and suddenly screen went black and then some vertical line appears and after that my laptop gets crashed. I don’t know what is wrong. Please help me to solve this problem.

Well according to me you are facing this problem because of the drivers Issue and I think you should first try to solve this problem by reinstalling the graphic drivers and after reinstalling the graphic drivers in your Dell XPS m1330 you have to check whether your problem get solved or not.

Yes I will also suggest you the same many times this type of problem can take place if the drivers get corrupted and that is why you have to first uninstall the graphic drivers from your laptop from the device manger and after uninstalling the drivers you have to remove all the temporary files from your laptop. Now after that restart the laptop and after restarting the laptop you have to insert the driver installation CD in your laptop. Now you have to install the graphic drivers again in your Dell XPS m1330 laptop and after reinstalling the drivers in your laptop you have to check whether same problem is occurring or not.

I have reinstalled the graphic drivers in my Dell XPS m1330 laptop and after reinstalling the drivers also I was also facing the same problem and after that I have also update the drivers in my laptop and after updating the drivers also I was facing the same problem. what should I do to solve this issue.

I have searched on the internet about this problem and I came to know that users who have updated the BIOS in their system have this problem and To solve this issue we have to roll back the BIOS version and after doing the BIOS roll back problem will get solved. if you have also updated the BIOS in your PC then you have roll back the BISO and then to check whether your problem het solved or not. as far as I know after rolling back the BIOS version your problem will get solved.

After rolling back the BIOS also if you are facing the same problem then you should contact the Dell support and after contacting the Dell support you have to tell them about the display issue and then they will give you proper solution and after that your problem will get solved.

Thank you for helping me. I have rolled back the BIOS version in my Dell XPS m1330 laptop and after rolling back the BIOS version all the problem get resolved. Now I am not getting the any problem with the laptop display and it is not crashing. I really appreciate your help.
