Cannot start WIFI utility in HP Pavilion dm4

I have HP Pavilion dm4 laptop and I have setup my Wi-Fi connection with my Linksys WIFI router. Normally I download movies in my laptop and I have also setup my WIFI with my HDMI TV also. now from last some days I am facing one problem with my laptop WIFI. Now I am not able to turn on the WIFI utility in my laptop. in my laptop I have done automatic updates before some days and from that time this problem has started. Please suggest me some solution regarding this.

Well I would first suggest you that you have to check that whether you have created any restore point or not? ,if you have system restore point created in your laptop then you have to perform the system restore in your computer and after doing that you have to check whether you are able to use the WIFI in your computer or not? i think after doing the system restore WIFI will run normally in your HP laptop.

After reading your post I did some research on the internet and I have found that by installing the Intel Wireless Display Software we can solve this issue. First of all you have to download the Intel Wireless Display Software from the internet and after that install it in your computer and after installing it in your computer you have to restart your computer and after that you will be able to use the WIFI in your computer.

If you want to download the Intel Wireless Display Software then you have to first click here DOWNLOAD. Now after clicking here you have to download the Intel Wireless Display Software on your laptop desktop and after that you have to remove all the installed wireless related drivers from your laptop and after that you have to restart the laptop. Now install the Intel Wireless Display Software in your laptop and after that your problem will get solved.

Thank you so much for helping me and solving me problem after going through your post I have downloaded Intel Wireless Display Software in my laptop and I have done exactly according to above mentioned steps. Now after doing that my WIFI started working normally but now whenever I try connecting my Linksys WIFI router with my laptop at that time my laptop is not able establish the connection with the router. Please tell me what should I do?

Check your Linksys WIFI router with any other laptop and see whether you are able to connect the it properly or not. if you are getting the same issue while connecting your router with other laptop also then I think there might be something wrong with your WIFI router and you can solve this issue by resetting the WIFI router. If you don’t get the same problem with other laptop then I think there still some problem remains in your laptop with the WIFI. First check this and after that let me know what the result is.

Well after referring your above solution I have reset my router by pressing the reset button at the back from the router. Now after resetting the router I have done all the WIFI setting again and after doing all the necessary setting with my router when I tried to connect the Wireless connection form my laptop at that time it worked fine. I really appreciate your help.
